About the Role

As a Bartender at Picnic, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional beverage experience while creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our guests. You will take ownership of the bar area, prepare high-quality cocktails and beverages to Picnic’s standards and support seamless service across the restaurant. This role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to provide thoughtful hospitality while maintaining a safe and organized bar environment

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the bar area, including the 5 walk-up stools, and provide attentive service to bar guests from greeting through payment
Welcome guests, take orders, prepare beverages and process payments accurately and efficiently
Prepare all beverages for Dining Room and Patio guests while ensuring consistency, quality and timely service
Deliver drinks to table-service guests and support cafe table service when required
Follow Smart Serve guidelines at all times, monitor guest alcohol consumption and communicate with the Manager on Duty if service needs to be refused
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar while following all procedures established by Senior Management.
Prepare all cocktails, beverages and specialty drinks according to recipes and standards.
Support the Cafe team with espresso-based beverage preparation during busy service periods
Communicate effectively with Servers, Food Runners, Cafe Team, and Managers to ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience
Contribute to a positive team environment while maintaining high standards of hospitality and professionalism.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience required
Smart Serve certification required
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized under pressure
Availability to work flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends and holidays
